It has been a productive and fruitful summer. The “Dragon” team of Defend The Republic project has implemented the first version of Braitenberg Blimps. Check out our video from our youtube channel. This senior design project aims to develop a robotic eye platform, which can effectively emulate what patients with eye disorders see, allowing doctors to see their point of view and giving them the necessary insight to more accurately diagnose and tailor treatments for patients. Sunil Kumar Rajendran successfully defended his PhD and became the first student to earn a PhD degree from CIAO lab! During his PhD, Sunil published 2 journals, 5 conference papers (Sunil’s Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=aKYLSvMAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao), and 1 journal paper is currently under review.
