Undergraduate Summer Research Intern

Congratulation to undergraduate student Chase Joyner on finishing his summer research intern in CIAO lab! Chase was a freshman at Stanford and was working with Dr. Yao during summer 2022 on the light-than-air vehicle development. He implemented a distributed sensing and distributed actuation algorithm on a robotic blimp which enables the blimp to detect and follow specific targets. The effectiveness of his developments was successfully tested through experiments.
